Physicians, nurses, nutritionists, heath information managers, pharmacists, laboratory technicians, clinical engineers, and other healthcare professionals with access to various specialized technologies must maximally leverage their individual specialties while working together to ensure the highest standards of care. The key to team-based healthcare is combining sophisticated expertise with compassions towards patients.
